Planet Jazz describes Theresa Tova as a "towering, pan-cultural jazz-cabaret diva.". From groove oriented Yiddish arrangements to excerpts from her "Great Women of the Yiddish Theatre" show, award winning actor, singer and writer Theresa Tova reunites with virtuoso pianist Matt Herskowitz and an all-star Montreal based Jazz quartet. A "classy, jazzy performer", with a sultry voice, she has gone from the Broadway musical stage to concert and Jazz venues around the world. Tova combines old Yiddish songs with a modern delivery.

Musica Camerata Montréal is considered one Canada's foremost chamber music ensembles. It was founded 39 years ago by Berta Rosenhol and Luis Grinhauz, a first violinist and assistant concert master of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.

The concert includes works by
Darius Milhaud (France- Switzerland)
Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (Italy- Hollywood)
Srul Glick (Canada) (The Klezmer's Wedding)
The Canadian premiere of American Paul Schoenfield's Sparks of Glory, interspersed with narration by noted Quebec actor and musician, Jean Marchand, who will read from letters of Holocaust survivors.
