SETH WOLITZ holds the Gale Chair of Jewish Studies and is a Professor of French, Slavic and Comparative Literature at the University of Texas, Austin.

ALYSSA QUINT is a lecturer at Columbia University and is currently at work on a book about Avrom Goldfaden and the modern Yiddish theatre. Title: Avrom Goldfaden Reconsidered

NAHMA SANDROW is author of Vagabond Stars: A World History of Yiddish Theater and 'God, Man, and Devil': Yiddish Plays in Translation. She has written two award-winning plays.

MICHAEL STEINLAUF is the theatre editor of the YIVO Encyclopedia of Jews in Eastern Europe and editor of Polin, v. 16, dedicated to Jewish popular culture in Poland.

JOEL BERKOWITZ, Chair of the Judaic Studies Department at SUNY Albany and editor of Yiddish Theatre: New Approaches.

DOV BER KERLER is the Yiddish Studies Chair at Indiana University, Bloomington. He has published four collections of Yiddish poetry, including one with his father, the poet Josef Kerler.

ALLAN L. NADLER is the Director of the Jewish Studies Program at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.
Title: Dramatizing Jewish Heresy: Uriel D'Acosta and Baruch Spinoza as Stars of the Yiddish Theatre

JEAN-MARC LARRUE is a professor of the theatre history and theory at the Université de Montréal. He is the author of Yiddish Theatre in Montreal.

EDWARD PORTNOY teaches Yiddish language and literature at Rutgers University. He writes on Yiddish popular culture.

JEFFREY VEIDLINGER is the Director of the Jewish Studies Program at Indiana University. He is the author of The Moscow State Yiddish Theater: Jewish Culture on the Soviet Stage.
